Two problems...

Ok so basically, I got my 08 TL about a year ago. It came with what looked like new tires but they wore down quick and uneven, especially on the front right tire and so I had them aligned but still had problems so I got new tires about a month and a half ago. Now, the two back tires are fine, but the two front tires both have significantly more wear on the outer edges of the tire. According to one mechanic, it's a problem with my front strut and it needs to be replaced. According to the Honda dealership they just think it's an alignment problem. My car wasn't aligned when I got new tires but it had been aligned not long before. Do you think its a problem with the front strut or just an alignment problem? Also, the other day my car's tire pressure light came on and the back right tire was low on air so I filled it up at a gas station. Today I got back in and the front two were 33/34 and the back two were 33/26 with system function:normal. I filled the tire back up again to 33 but I noticed there is a small tear, it's not deep at all and its only about half an inch long. Do you think the tire is leaking air? These are brand new tires and I'm afraid they are going to have to be replaced really soon, someone help me out? Thanks

A good quality alignment shop will be a better source of whats wrong with your suspension.

I'd do some research in your area and have it realigned.

I'm currently in SC for school with my car and I live in VA. I'm returning to VA next friday for spring break and I guess it's inevitable that I have to drive it back but I'm worried my tire will blow out or that I will put too much wear on the front, idk. But the shops down here have had bad reviews so I am real reluctant to go to any of them so I'm waiting til I go home but I'm hoping it can make it.

Outer front tread wear, too much toe in especially if the tread is feathered.
As far as leaking air, putting it in a tank of water will give you the results. If it a rip in the tire, I'd not take it on a trip until it's replaced.

What caused the tear if its a new tire? One thing you can try is at the tear area squirt it with a mix of water & dish soap and if the cut is leaking it "may" show bubbles. While your at it squirt it all around the bead and the valve stem area.
