TPMS recalibration?
Ok, I just visited my local Town Fair Tire to get a quote for some Proxes 4 (245/40/18) for my RonJon Inspyre's (18x8.5) and they have a line on there for "TPMS Sensor Recalibration" for 19.99 What is this? By the way, this isn't the install of the tpms stem, that is on a diff line for 2.95 per stem.
p.s. - They also want to charge me for a 4-wheel alignment for 49.99 Is this necessary? I talked to my Acura service dept and they said they don't do a re-alignment after they put on the A-Spec kit, so why should I?

They have to recalibrate the wheel sensor transmitters with the receiver so the MID reads correctly. I think that's the procedure, or pretty close to it. Anyway, it's necessary so they are not ripping you off.
I don't have an 06 service manual, so check with your dealer if you are still in doubt, and they can either confirm what I said or you can post what the actual procedure is.
Was your service department talking about the A-Spec suspension installation or just the A-Spec body kit? I would seriously question the need for an alignment unless the A-spec suspension was installed, and then I'm not positive you would need it.

Anyone know for sure?

If the TPMS is the same as the RL there is no calibration or linking needed. Put on new wheels and TPMS sensors and give the car 5 minutes and it automatically links to them and resets the MID.

LOL. Does the RL show individual tire pressure for each wheel? I know the MDX does not. I just wonder how it knows what sensor is what wheel seeing that all the tpms sensors are the same part #

Yes it does show each individual wheel in the MID.
There is an short range antenna in each wheel well - so the TPMS sensor has to be awfully close to the sensor for it to sense the pressure.
