TPMS error....
TPMS error....
I've run into a problem with a TPMS error after putting my stock wheels back on. I had the 18" A-spec wheels on all summer with no problems, however when I put the stocks back on, only 2 of the 4 wheels would register. LF 58 RF 35 RR 58 LR 35 were the pressures that registered after driving for several miles before the error message came on.
I flipped the LF & RF but it still showed the same pressures, (LF 58, RF 35) after a short drive. Replacing just the LF with one of the 18" wheels, resulted in the correct pressure displayed for that wheel on the RF, without even driving a short distance.
Next I swapped the LF & LR, but still ending up with LF 58 & LR 35......
I've disconnected the battery once, but still the same results. Anyone got any ideas??

Get on the HIGHWAY and drive for at least 20 minutes doing over 50mph... should fix the problem...
Or wait a couple of days driving at least 20 miles per day and the problem will fix itself...

Swapped the LF & LR last night and finally got the (former) LF to register now that it's on the LR. Guess I'll try that on the right side tonight and see if it works. I've never had this problem before switching out wheels.
Not me, I'm guessing I'll just have to replace the sensors. I don't think the warranty will cover it, I'm not on the original tires. Well, that and the closest dealer is over 1-1/2 hrs. away.
