TL-S Aspec MT Suspsension?
Can someone explain to me the difference between all the suspensions for all the TLs for the 3rd gen? I have an automatic 05 SSM TL w/ aspec suspension and from what i read somewhere, is it true that the MT type S aspec suspension would lower the height of the car if it were installed on an Automatic? can someone confirm this and explain the differences between the suspensions for the 04-06 base, 04-06 aspec, 07-08 base, 07-08 type s, and 07-08 type s aspec. Im considering getting the manual transmission Type S aspec suspension if it will lower the car and still give stiff and firm handling.
Thanks in advance.

I'm running the MT a-spec on my AT and it still sat too high in the front. Unfortunately with my Konis in the low postition it's a little too low for my tastes. In hindsight I would've gone with the AT springs with Konis in the low setting.
I can tell you any a-spec is lower than the TL-S suspension.

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I have a few questions. How is the ride compared to the stock S? How big of the gap is it in the front and back? Did you have to adjust the headlight to compensate for the change in height?

I have the MT-ASpec on my AT type S also. The ride is slightly more firm than the type S suspension. I didn't measure the gap, but here are two pictures for visual reference.
stock (type S) susp:
ASpec
The tires do not tuck - there's a gap of maybe a finger or two with the ASpec (front and rear).
I have not noticed any decrease in the area the headlights light up.
