Disappointed
Have about 15k on mine - starting to wear a good bit despite proper rotations.
My big thing has been the hydroplaning over last 4 months - gotten terrible. I'm awfully disappointed with them. Will be replacing withing next year for sure.

34k miles so far. Only reason I need to replace them now is that I hit some pretty nasty potholes and the driver side front has cracks on the sidewall. The tires still have 5/32" on the fronts and 7/32" on the back.
The ride has been terrible due to flatspotting from the get go though.

Bridgestone Turanza EL42s
I'm assuming that most people are answering for the BS Turanza EL42s that come with non-Navi TLs. That's what I have too.
Right now, I have ~14K and fronts are at 5 or 6/32 while rear are at about 6 or 7/32. If I pushed it, I could probably get 20K on the EL42. With winter coming soon to Michigan, however, I am changing them out. I am disappointed that these EL42s don't last longer, but I won't risk my life over a few 32s of remaining tread. Good riddance EL42!
Next set of tires waiting for me are the Falken Ziex 512 . Set of four from Discount Tire will cost me $485 out-the-door, including the road hazard insurance. This is after dealing with them to getting $60 reduction for the EL42s. I'm changing the tires this saturday.
BTW, I called BS consumer relations to complain and got a case number assigned. After taking the car to my local Firestone dealer to inspect the tires, nothing much came out of it. The Firestone guy did offer to give me a discount to go to the Turanza LSZ but the price would still be over $800. Forget it.

I get ~15K miles- On my THIRD set of tires
I'm getting my tires changed as I speak - THIRD SET in less than TWO YEARS!! I got the Falken Ziex 512 for $150 out the door but that's cause I'm getting hooked up (my brother works for shop).. Last time I paid $300 for the same exact Falken tires (2nd set now-third set overall)..
When I bought my car less than 2 years ago I started with high performance Bridgestone tires that lasted 15K miles and were $260 PER tire according to my brother. RIP.. So I got the Falken 512 like everyone was voting on here back then as the tires to get. AGAIN only lasted me 15K miles.. I have 31K miles on my car right now. 15-20% of the time I race my car, but I NEVER peeled out in the Falkens.. I did in the Bridgestones.. I'm being told that it's more likely the style of the TL that tires don't last long. These Falken 512s were suppose to last 30K miles I thought!?! I don't get warranty though.. but I got them half the price I paid last time because they wore out so fast!
I guess I'll be getting 4 new tires put on my car once a year!
