Won't be a problem as that setup will only move the assembly out <1/4".

Thanks!! I'm sorry I'm really not knowledgeable with tires what is the up side to going to 235/40/18?

And if I would upgrade to 245/40/18 would they rub?

Thanks so much for your help!1

Take a look at the tire to fender height and see how far the car needs to drop to be even with the widest part of the tire, maybe 3", so if you loaded up the trunk with a 1000 lbs you might have a problem, just a wild guess. Also if you look at the tire specs, you'll see that certain 235/40-18 tires are wider than a 245/40-18. Sounds crazy but the larger size doesn't always indicate a larger width tire, although it should.

Just wanted to add, don't know what size tire is on the car now, but if stock wheel/tire, take a momemt and loosen the lugs and move the wheel out 1/4" and see where it sits. This will be where the new wheels reside, actually only.20", but you'll get an idea.
