sugestions on wheels for an 05 TL. I want machined, and was wondering if i can go 18 inch without any problems with wear, change in ride, etc. Trying to keep it around 1000

 

well, what colors your car bro? i'd go with aspecs (and i did!)
maybe consider rj inspyres (raven black) - 27lbs each, but you'll go over a grand for sure...

 

sorry, car is white...i dont necessarily want something too over the top, just a good "intro" wheel

 

so your tryin to spend 250 per wheel? Plus rubber, or a grand in total??!!

PS. I agree with Erick3... Going with Aspecs, especially if you can use fleabay and find 18x8.5 aspecs

IMO...you can get tires and rims for around a G

ESPECIALLY if you are doing an intro rim...just to change it up

i found some nice black rims with a chrome lip 18's set of 4 for around 500

and i am debating on tires...abt to post a thread for the tires

3 choices

1. 235/40-18 Kumho Ecsta ASX Tires abt $530
2. 235/40R-18 92W Falken Ziex ZE-512 abt $500
3. 235/40-18 Nitto NT555 NT-555 abt $550

 

just a grand for rims, tires are a different story...especially since its pretty easy to spend a grand on just tires
