For those with ASPEC suspension...any regrets?

Just curious. All I hear are good things about it. Anyone wish they never bought it?

No, I like it...but wish I would have waited until Koni yellows came out. Those yellows with Eibach springs would have been the bomb. Just my impatience.

love it. i didn't get the wheels, just the shocks/springs. it's a wonderful ride, and not the compromise a full race spring and shock would have been.

Why not get the Koni Yellows and Eibach springs? I'm guessing you could sell the aspec suspension for at least $400 in the Black Market or on eBay.

like most here, I really like mine. The car simply corners flatter and rides slightly firmer. It's very Euro. It's not a true auto-x suspension but it sure makes you feel like you can toss the car around a bit more. The car still feels front heavy but the transient response you feel while driving is improved and lets you feel more confidence.

Love the A-Spec, but wish it would have lowered the car an additional inch.

I love the Aspec as well, and I also wish it would have lowered the car 1 more inch .. b/c it dropped the car by an amount that you cannot even notice. I would NEVER go back to stock.. the Aspec is too much fun, it's the perfect blend of performance and luxury ride for me.. and I live and drive in the city w/ lots of irregularities in the roads... so it deals w/ these well. I also have the 18" Aspec rims..

Love it. For me, the drop was such that the car fits just right over my 18" wheel and tire setup. And the ride is the perfect balance between handling and comfort.

I also love my A-Spec suspension. I kept the stock 17" wheels with the Michelins. It's much better than stock but very reasonable for a near luxury car. Not jaw rattling like some of the performance/racing suspension available.

I have an appointment with my dealer next week to sort out the A-SPEC alignment issues and hopefully with realignment my premature tire wear issue will be put to rest. If I get 15,000 mile per set, I'll be happy.

I don't get any strange tire wear. I've got 10K on my A-Spec and my tires still seem new.

The A-Spec suspension handles AWESOME and I couldn't imagine driving this car without it. However, I do wish it lowered the car a little more. It only lowers it like .5" which is barely noticeable. Too much wheel well gap if you ask me. If it lowered it like 1.25" it would be absolutely gorgeous.

No regrets here. The only premature tire wear I get is from talking on ramps at 70 mph and my daily trek through the twisties near my home . Just replaced my first set of tires at 15k and all were worn evenly without cupping.

I love my ASPEC and have had it for 24k miles on the same set of Nitto tires. I have had the alignment checked twice since the install and no correction has ever been necessary. I also have the RSB. A friend of mine commented on how flat the car was on a hard curving on ramp and he drives a 350Z......I was impressed.

The Aspec suspension should have been incorporated into a model called the "TL Type S" for this year as well as a slight boost in power .. but oh well, we'll keep waiting for that Type S model.

Love the A-Spec package. Took a regular TL as a loaner while they were doing some stuff, and could NOT believe it was the same car. Exceptional difference.

No regrets whatsoever. The drop is perfect for me, the ride quality is excellent. I promise to finally get the RSB in 2006 to complete the suspension package!
