A-Spec 6MT Help

I've seen a couple threads where people have purchased the suspension for 6MT but were actually shipped the suspension for the auto. I purchased mine from A.O.E. and then had my dealer install it before I took delivery of the car so it would be covered under the full 4 year warranty. I never checked the part number on the box when I received the suspension so now I'm paranoid and want to make sure I have the right one. I checked the driver side front and the part number that was on the shock was 08W60-SEP-2M00-F1, would anyone with a 6MT who knows for sure that they have the correct suspension check and see if that's the same part number on theirs. Thanks so much in advance.

You have nothing to worry about. Just checked mine out. My passenger side says 2M00-E1 and the the driver side says 2M00-F1.

Hope that helps.

I also didn't know that there were 2 different set ups of the A-Spec suspension. Once I read the thread about 2 different A-spec suspensions, I was so worried that they shipped me the auto suspension. That same day I drove home to see if the part # was correct. It was a sign of relief that they shipped the manual suspension. After 2 weeks after installation, there is a noticeable drop.

Will:

The 08W60-SEP-200A number is for the 6MT kit (the auto has no A after it).

The actual suspensions have a number like 08W60-SEP-2M01C1 for auto and as listed above for manual.

I really don’t have anything to compare it to as I never drove the car before it had the suspension installed. I am coming from an S2000 so it still seems a little soft to me. I cant imagine how it would feel without it. Definitely glad I had it installed.
