Shocks... need help
Shocks... need help
Right before Thanksgiving, I replaced my front shock, with new factory one... the ride felt a lot smoother for about two weeks, but then I now feel like after replacing the shocks, it became a domino effect and made other parts less effective ( just don't know which ones). I hate the way she drives now. I thought i did a proper job of changing the shocks, like I said, there was a big difference for the first two weeks, she rode perfectly smooth.
So... is there anything else that was suppose to be replaced??? Its hard do describe the feeling/noise when i hit a small bump in the road, its as if there is a loose part connecting to the wheel or axle. Open for inputs and comments

Check all the nut/bolts for proper seating and torque.
Did you tighten the nuts at the top of the damper (top hat nuts) with the suspension under load?
Is the "tab" at the bottom of the shock in the "slot" at the pinch bolt?
Were the shock properly aligned (the tab aligned to the top hat bolts)?
What shock did you use for replacement? "Factory ones" - so OE Acura shocks?
Edit:
Here's the DIY's if you want to check torque specs, etc.
