A-spec suspension?

hey guys,

i was wondering what the benefits of a-spec suspension would be on my base 06. i tried to search but everything comes up with either coilovers or H&R sports.

i like my susp in this daily driver to to be as close to OEM as possible driveability wise, but want to lower a tiny bit. comparison pics between to OEM and a-spec would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
-G

I found a deal on the 5AT suspension, but my TL is 6MT. Has anybody put the auto suspension on a manual? I'm not really looking for a big drop, if any at all. I just want a firmer ride without having to worry about speed bumps and driveways.
Would the AT suspension with its slightly higher spring rates accomplish this, or would I just end up looking like a fool with the front end way higher than the rear?

your front end would look higher and silly. if you have MT, get asepc MT. the reason why its cheaper...new in BM...b/c its for AT. those with AT will get the MT kit, because it will lower the front evenly with the back.

to the OP:
seach "aspec suspension" in the 3G forums only-go to advanced search function. there are numerous threads discussing the topic and even a few with pictures. i know b/c i already did my homework on it, purchased and installed my kit, and loving every moment of it. if you just type in suspension of course you're going to get everything under the sun.

That's what I was afraid of, thanks for confirming.

i have At sport suspension on mines. i love it. very smooth. not bouncy. it clears many curbs when opening the door. just a perfect marginal drop. handling is a beast, i made a vovlo s60 look like it was loosing control on a on ramp to a freeway. just say my steering is super responsive to anything that comes my way. good suspension over these aftermarket ones, factory spec is the way to go. goodluck.

You could always go with koni's and eibach pro kit. I have it on my TL and it rides pretty smoth.

Plus, the pro kit only drops in 1" in the front and 1" in the rear.

i have an automatic TL with the manual a-spec suspension. Love the look of the drop. I think it looks perfect if you're going for the subtle look. Handling is great as well!!

i have the aspec on my 05 6mt and i would honestly buy something else if i were you. the front sits higher than the rear and the ride is good but when you go over bumps and such on the highway it rides really (floaty) a little too soft for my taste
