you just narrowed it down to about 1000000 wheels. Search and when you find some that you like post them in here to ask for opinions or a photoshop or something.

^^^ lol

he is right though, by saying you want a mesh style wheel that is pretty generic. There is literally tons of different mesh wheels out there. Me personally, I would buy a top quality mesh wheel, like some HREs or DPEs.

Yea I know their are 100000 mesh/web wheels out there.

Just want to see what are some popular quality ones.

This is the reason I created this thread cause there are so many out there.

I didn't mean it like they will break or anything bad. They look good. I just wouldn't put them on the same level of some of the other wheels that flip_side mentioned.

If that is your budget, get some Axis Pentas because all the ones flip_side mentioned are out of your price range.

qft axis pentas should never be placed in the same category as a bbs, work, or ssr wheel

offset really depends on how much work your willing to put in...pulling and rolling fenders? if you like the stretched tire look...if you want flush, poke, tucked. 18,19,20? how wide they are

I just want the normal look. No rolling or extra work to be put in.

Going with 18". What tire size should I roll with ?

Will 18x8 40 offset work?

Or should I go with a lower offset?

I'd go lower .. the wheels in post #2 above are 38 offset so the 40 will be in more.

Go at least 35.

Yea I like those but in 18" they only come in chrome and a 9 in diameter. Chrome is tacky IMO and 18x9 will require extra work to fit properly.

To say this is simply wrong. There are many variables in the equation including offset, drop amount, etc. Wheel size is just one of them and 18x9 will fit no problem with the right offset.

Here are my MRR GT1's that I sold last month....
ABSOLUTELY NO RUBBING, PLUS I AM LOWERED 1" all around.
They are 19x9.5 in the rear & 19x8.5 In the Front. PLEASE EXCUSE THE CRAP IPHONE PICS... tried to correct the color & just ended up F'KIN them up even more LOL.

SO YEAH.... MRR doesnt make extreme offsets that will make you roll fenders or do any other kinda work for that matter. They only make +45 & +35 for our offsets.

I recently picked up these "Ruff Racing" 18's, I had never heard of the brand but some other people I talked to had.... Anyway got a great deal on em slightly used, but new they would be in your price range. I love the style and had been looking for awhile, and had basically the picture of these exact wheels in my head even before I found em.
....and yeah I will be getting drop springs soon to lose the World Rally look.....
