Can this be fixed? Anywhere to fix it in San fernando valley or los angeles? Can the Acura dealer fix it?

Hey, mistakes happen. Don't tell me you've never curbed a rim.

 

My response was somewhat sarcastic and yes I hit a curb few years ago. It left a real nice mark too. Luckily it was with a 14" TSW rim and I only paid $150 (used) for the set. I plan on being extremely anal when driving my TL. Also, after seeing & hearing about all these scratched rims, I don't think I would ever let anyone drive my TL....well maybe my mother.

 

Sure thats not my rim, cost me $60 to get it fixed, looks like new, until I did it again to the replacment wheel!

 

Call Globe Tire in L.A. They fixed our wheel on the 745i

 

For anyone in Baltimore-DC metro area, Wheel Doctors is supposed to be very good.

 

we had the same problem bringing our 04 TL home from the dealer. Hit a curb in manhatten. it sucks horribly.

 

My friend used Wheel Doctor to repair one of his AMG rims after it was driven into a curb at a high rate of speed. The rim was bent, scratched, and lost a small chunk of material. We sent it to Wheel Doctor, and the rim was mailed back as if it was brand new. Cost about $150 at the time, but included the whole rim being refinished. I'd definitely recommend this place.

 

You might want to check ebay to see if anyone sell new OEM rims, especially ppl who upgrade their rims. I think it is cheaper to buy new one.

My friend will ask his bmw service guy who fixed his rims sometimes. I'll let you guys know.

 

i will buy the curbed rim if you want! i have a set of two and bought another curbed one today for $40 so i just need one more to complete the set let me know
