If you're talking about the strut tower bar that goes over your front suspension in the engine bay, keep the stock one. The other ones available are predominantly for aesthetics.

If you are looking to upgrade your sway bar, you can upgrade the rear one with the Progress unit. They make the thickest RSB for our cars. I don't recommend that you upgrade your front sway bar, because that will promote understeer.

The strut bar helps tremendously, I had a article saved somewhere, but it reduces body roll by a lot.

RV6 strut bar is most likely sold the most and richie's customer service is top notch.

RSB, Suspension, and strut bar helps a lot, and will "feel" like you're driving a true sports car.

We've got a huge vocabulary problem here.

Strut- The TL does not have a strut on it. It uses shocks.

Strut bar- Braces the frame between the shock towers. Also should be called a shock tower brace but strut bar is so widely used, I give up. Has nothing to do with the suspension. It's a frame stiffener. There is no point to going aftermarket as far as performance is concerned.

Swaybars- A torsional spring, part of the suspension, reduces bodyroll, decreases the independence of the independent suspension (not good) but changes handling balance greatly so choose wisely or you will be slower around the corners than stock.

OP- Search is your friend.

Search is your friend, but not when you dont know what your looking for!!! The only reason im considering buying a strut and sway bar is because i want to lower my car, and i have 20's. Already after each "mildly" big bump in the road my tires hit the car, even worse I CANT EVEN SEAT 2 PPL IN THE BACK!!. too much w8 in the back seat(im talking 200 pounds and up..which is nothing) after each turn my tires hit the car again!! So this being said, what can i do to fix this problem while also lowering my car a tiny bit to give it that cool low rider look but also without losing any performance/handling etc.

thanks!

If you lower your car, you will rub more. The only way to resolve the rubbing with your current set up is to roll your fenders. If you really love your wheels, make the car fit the wheel.

Get rid of the 20's. too big for our cars, esp if you want to lower the car. If you keep them, you will have to roll the fenders. The strut and sway bars will not help at all with rubbing.
