Quote for A-spec suspension and wheels

Ok, after I posted the A-spec emblem thread, it made me think about the rest of the kit. So I asked the service manager to give me a quote and this is what he gave me so far. He probably can give another 5% discount. So is the price ok? thanks.

a-spec suspension: which includes shocks/springs plus a front and rear wheel alignment

parts- $995.00
labor- $507.60
total- $1,502.60
less 20% discount- (-$300.52)
total after discount- $1,202.08 plus tax on parts only 6.75%

a-spec wheels: which includes wheels/ tire pressure monitoring system valves

parts- $1920.00
labor- $76.00
less 20% discount- (-$399.20)
total after discount- $1,596.80 plus tax on parts only 6.75%

I bought my aspec suspension for 600.00...from aofeparts on ebay I think, I told him that I was refered my acurazine and I got a 25 discount. Btw if you have the right tools you can put in your aspec in by yourself. also 1600 for aspec rims is WAY Too high. They are all over ebay for less, heck one dealer has a rim and suspension deal for around 1800.

I agree, very high. A of E (the link is above) will take care of you. If they don't have what you're looking for listed, e-mail them (Scott)...got my ASPEC suspension for $600, CT RSB for $95, and all of it shipped for $50 (coast to coast). I've gotten a couple of other parts from there as well, none of which was ever posted on eBay.

I also agree that you should do the install yourself if you can...it's not as hard as it sounds. My dealer was trying to charge something similar to what yours is...too high...if you can't DIY, go to an independent shop or a Meineke or somewhere...$200-$300 at the most.

Wheels - definitely high...eBay...put them on yourself...and I know you can do that since you have the tools in the trunk.

Definitely get it on-line from either AofE or AofLV. You should be able to get it for around $650 shipped and then a local shop should be able to install it for less than $300. When I do it, I'm going to get it from one of those two places and I found a local shop that'll do the install for $275 including alignment. (Right now I'm debating on whether or not to order the wheels at the same time or wait and just get the suspension.) I've seen the '05 wheels for around $950-1300 on-line depending on the finish.

I called a bunch of different places and when I do it, I think I'm going to go with Pro-Spec Autosport in Quincy.

Did you really get 25% off by mentioning that you referred by acurazine? Does that mean you only paid $450 minus the shipping for the suspension?

I got quoted 349 per Rim. i have the 04 A spec with the 8.5 inch Width and wanted to keeep the 8.5 width and i havent noticed any uneven wear. i got quoted from Smithtown Acura, you guys think thats a good price? He assured me it was the 8.5's and not the 8 inch width. i have also seen the aspec suspension on ebay like everyone else for about 600.

I purchased my A-spec suspension for $625 form AofLV on ebay.

Called all the Acura dealers around and found one willing to do the install for $245.

I was quoted prices as high as $600 for the install.

To be installed late next week.
