Quick question

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I drive a tls (6speed). When puting on aftermarket wheels, I always here people ask if its AT or Manual. If its manual, you need spacers... Are the brake system differet in size between the two tranny? If I'm trippin, I apologize. Thanks

Yes, if you take a look at your brakes.
you will see a massive 4pot Brembo brake caliper.

the auto TL's have a wimpy 2 pot caliper.

You don't necessarily need spacers ... depends onthe wheel itself and the offset and spoke configuration.

There is a very good thread here coveing questions on which wheel will fit what .

If you drive a TLS, the brakes are the same A/T or M/T, but as stated previously, the '04-'06 and base '07-'08 with A/T are a single piston, smaller caliper.
