Question about TEIN S. TECH

I'm considering purchasing springs for my 2004 Acura TL with 60,000 miles with OEM shocks. Should I be worried about my shocks going bad very soon if I get my car lowered with these springs since my car has so many miles on it with the stock shocks?

What is your opinion on these springs? ride quality and look

THANKS

To do it correctly, I think you just need to go with Coilovers. But If you don't think you gonna keep the car for another 100k miles, then just get the springs. Honda shocks are very good 60k aint nothing but a chicken wing.

Tein is great. I had 2 sets on already. and 3rd set is coming soon for my TL.
If you don't want to spend lots, just buy the springs. Installation probably will cost you atleast $150 on top of the $200 springs. so.... up to you to decide.

So we don't need to upgrade the shocks when lowering? I had to on my 4th gen Maxima...

Only way to fly is with going with your shocks and Tein Springs, you will not notice any difference in ride quality, you will need to run a camber kit in rear to insure you don't go thru tires every 5000 miles camber kit very inexpensive

Consider H&R sport springs too. I just installed them and the ride quality was AWESOME. if uve driven ur car alot ull notice its a little bit stiffer, but the ride quality is still stock like.

I paired mine with Tokico blues because my oem shocks had 75k... but im sure your shocks will be just fine, i just figured if i had to take the oem's off anyway mine aswell replace! The ride quality is a little bit stiffer then stock as the spring rate on the s-techs is similar to that of the aspec's. But the handling is 100x better!
