New to Azine! Thinking of lowering

Hey all. I just got new wheels and 18" rims. Car looks great, I am thinking of lowering it. I've got Greddy Evo exhaust....will it bottom out?

Thanks

Welcome to the board. Post pictures of your ride!

How far are you trying to lower the car?

I am lowered around 2" with the Eibach pro kit and koni sport shocks. The koni shocks are rebound and height adjustable. I actually recommend the H&R springs over the Eibach springs for stance. I chose the Eibach springs for another reason. Anyway.. here's a pic of my car.

You'll be fine with a 1.5 drop. H&R Sport springs will get you ~1.4F/1.3R for not much money. Tein S_Tech is a popular choice as well, and gives a more even ~1.5" drop all around. Most will say to get coils, but I've got the H&R's with Koni Yellows and have no regrets.

^ got any pics of the ride? If so, make sure to include which spring perches you're using on the shocks.

Personally, I'm using the lower setting in the front and the middle (oem) setting in the rear.

One determining factor in that decision is the condition of the roads in your area and where you do most of your driving. I decided not to go with the A-Spec suspension due to the roads here in the NYC area, pothole heaven.

I agree with ANX-here is my Type S on H&R Springs, which only cost ~$245.
