Definently buying those rims, look amazing on our car. What colors are available, I have a WDP and would like the most contrast possible. I think I would paint the calipers black and get some slotted rotors and it would look even better. Honda, if you can please post some pictures of other views, once the car is clean, very nice job man I love it.

Do you guys know what the stock offset and back spaceing is on the TL wheel? I am considering getting the 18" Acura TL wheels,(18" Sparkle Silver High Performance) (this is what Acura calls them from the Acura site) for my wife's TSX! I really don't want these things sticking out!

Thanks.

I dont have any answer to those questions, but I would suggest posting this in the forum under a new thread, instead of going so off-topic in someones thread displaying their new volk wheels... Good luck anways though w/ the TSX

sorry folks, let me correct myself.

offset is not really backspacing, but they describe the same thing.

backspacing is always measure from inward rim lip to the mounting hub surface.

offset measures the distance the mounting hub surface is away from rim centerline, hence offsets can be negative (surface is inward or centerline), and positive (surface is outward of rim centerline). as you positively increase offset the rim moves inward.

The wheels look hot with the drop. I have a silver 05 TL and want to drop it with 19" wheels. Was woundering how much you droped it. I am debating on the comptech 1" or the Aspec drop.

Hondasaurus,

I'm amazed how perfectly your set-up works. I noticed that you have 235mm wide tires and a rather low offset. Do your tires rub in the front or back?

It looks like if you had 245mm wide tires it would be rubbing like crazy.

I ask because I've found some 19x8.5 wheels with a 42mm offset that only weigh 18.7lbs. I plan to run 245/35/19 Toyo's. I'm hoping that this will get me far enough out toward the fender wells to look good without running into any rubbing issues. I'll be lowering the vehicle at least 2.5f/2.25r with Tein SS coilovers.

Your input is greatly appreciated...

Terry
