Talking need some advice please....and quick

I'm getting some rims/tires this weekend and I need help on some tire size. I'm getting Nitto 555 tires and Niche Venice rims. The guy at the tire shop said I should go with 225/35/20 b/c it wouldn't rub like a 235/35/20 would. But I've seen other people on here with 235's on their car and it wasn't really a problem. I only have stock suspension right now so if I get the 235/35/20 will I have any rubbing issues with those?

Also, the Venice rims have a stainless steel polished lip. Will the rims still look good with that finish on them?

Thanks!

if your car is stock height I wouldn't see why you would rub... I think 225 is too low, if you're not carefull you'll bend a rim

Doubtfull that the 35's would work at all. About 99% of the guys running 20's are running the 30's. If you are open to body work, you "may" be able to get them to fit but.... Also, aren;t those tires more expensive than the 30-series?

Diameter difference for the 245/35-20's is a little over an inch and a half larger diameter that stock outside recommended specifications but apparently still viable per the above post but I would check out the others on here who have been running 20's to get verification. I guess some of the problems may only occur with the wider tires (like a 265)

I was looking through a couple threads with people who had 20's and some had 235/35/20 with no problem and stock suspension so I decided to go with those. I also saw that Invincible569 was also running those on the front with no prob and he had a drop so I should be ok, I hope. Getting those bad boys slapped on tomorrow.

I run 245-35-20 with A-spec drop and have no problems. You should also take into consideration the offset of the wheels as it will affect how close it will be in relation to the fenders.

run the 245-30-20 and then you can lower it without trimming the inner fender
