1. Comptech also sells springs - 1" drop for ~$200
2. Tein Coilovers (not on the market yet) - .95" to 1.75" drop (at least these were the preliminary specs, I don't know the production specs) for around ~$750
3. As mentioned above Eibach springs also.

Well most people, prefere Eibach, all in all, just because they are a known brand (dont get me wrong CompTech known also) But if you were to get the A-spec suspension. Its Eibach they use. So mose people feel comfortable with the fact that they are using a part that is being used already for these cars. But both are reall good. As for now, where ever you look, you will have to get the springs for the 2004 Honda Accord. So you wont really find in websites a spring that says thats for the 2004 Acura TL. Well at least last month when u looked it was still like that. So they are not really made for TL. But fit cuz accord seems to use same skeleton as us.

That is a good point. I know for a fact that Comptech springs were originally for the Accord.

About the A-Spec springs being manufactured by Eibach, I've heard that as a rumor. As far as I know it is just a rumor. If anyone can provide some more info or a link that would be great.

To the original poster:
Since GunmetalAcura brought it up, if you are considering the A-Spec, you can get it for around ~700 if you look around. But it only drops the car around .5 to .75 of an inch.

If you're just looking for a lower ride, I'd recommend that CT springs based on the feedback I've heard on this board. There have been a lot of happy customers here.

I think I'll go with the ASPEC springs/struts since they have been tuned specifically for this application- that counts for a lot in my book.

Good choice, even though Comptech springs are made by Eibach, it is better to go with the whole strut and spring combo anyway.
