I have a simple question that maybe someone can answer for me. I bought a set of Sachhi 260s wheels with an offset of 42. I have yet to take delivery of them. I was told by someone that they will not fit on my car because of the offset. Is that true? If it is what offset do I need to be looking for on my new rims?

Thanks for the help in Advance!

Are those 18's? What's the width? What size tires are you going to buy?

The wheels are 18" and the exact size is 18x7.5. Actually the offset is 40 not 42. I need to look into buying tires as well. Any suggestions for this wheel size and my car? I am too new of a member so I can't post a picture of the wheels at this time. This is a link to the picture of them though: http://www.maximillion.ca/graphics/sacchi-260.jpg

If these wheels don't meet the needs of the car I will be in the market for different wheels if anyone else can help me out. If not, I would love to find some factory type-s 17" with rubber.

7.5" with a +40 offset....prepare for some major rubbing. I would reconsider....look for at least +45 or greater.

I was thinking of the RH C5s or RH C2s....Just a thought..It has a little lip on both rims...And I believe one of the other A-TL memebers had the C5 3 piece..Look sick...Does that fit on the TL?

Should I get 17 or 18s...Is it worth the hassle of bent rims..

Remember I live in NYC... WHat's your take 18s???

i believe all 18" rh evo wheels that come in the 7.5" width get a +42mm offset...so this is the lowest you should go and there might be some rubbing with 225/40 tires. not sure what is offered for rh evo 17s...but all 3-pc racing harts can be ordered with appropriate offsets. as for wheel damage, it's more about driving style. if you drive like a granny then you will have time to avoid hazards and therefore save your wheels. just don't make the decision to go with 17s, because you think 45 or 50 series tires have more rim protection (not really though), and then come to the conclusion they are too small because that would be a waste of money! but also, you have to come to the realization that anything can happen to any wheel at any time...i think if you understand this then you will be a happier camper.

I have the RH C5 evos 18" +42 offset and everything is fine. I am only lowered on comptechs, so that might be why I'm not rubbing. Overall, the +42 offset is okay, but I would shoot for higher, unfortunately RH evos only come in +42 in 18". If you aren't slammed, you probably aren't going to rub, but it'll be close.

Is the offset the same and wheel well size with the accord? I am on Comptechs and afraid of rubbing with 18s...I guess looking around there are many stock wheels as 18s...i.e. BMW 7 series and also the Lexus L-Tuned IS300 and some other ones....$hit even the Hyundai Tiburon has 17s...I guess I need 18s....

Accords offsets are slightly different from the TLs. I would suggest getting at least +45 on 18's.
