so here's my story; after extensive research and bad experiences with suspension before, i finally decided to lower my 08 TL-S on tein s-tech springs and the stock struts with roughly 135xxxkm . long story short, after first lowering just the front, they weren't even on the car for a full day before the front passenger strut blew, despite the fact that they felt great at first. now i can get a replacement struts from the dealership here for $77 CAD. my question is, should i lower on brand new stock type-s struts, or just get a tein coilover set? please note that i do not plan on slamming the car just looking to close the wheel gaps. a-spec suspension is not an option. i've had tein super streets on my accord that didn't last more than a year, so i'm kinda skeptical on lowering at all out of fear of giving myself more work/expense down the line. also the roads here are not bad and i was considering parking it for winter. what do u guys think? any input/advice is appreciated. thanks..
