My small project starts tomorrow at 8am

Been waiting almost a week and a half to paint the stockies and every day I've had off it's rained. Well I got all my supplies ready and tackling the job tomorrow morning. I'll take a few progress picture along the way and update the thread as I progress.

Took me about 12hrs to do my oem is300 wheels.

Take your time sanding the wheels. Prep work is very important. I used 2 coats of filler primer, 3 coats of gun metal paint, and 3 coats of clear.

Interesting. I personally wouldn't do it that color, or any dark color for that matter. I think the silver looks the best on those wheels.

yea it's the contrast it creates. When they are dark, they are just "lost" on the car and to me you may as well be on steelies

I did the same thing and I LOVE they way they look! Can I make one suggestion though? Please get rid of your sunroof guard, it destroys the lines of the TL and the lines on the 3G are seriously perfect in everyway possible.

I've been ready to do the accord fogs, just scared of cutting and I can't wire for the life of anything.

Wifes already told me she's taking my car for tint in June for my b day. Sucks that 35% is the limit here and it's not even that dark. I am going to read up on the fog install and try to muster the courage to do it

Nice job Dan. You might consider doing the grill like that too-it would pull everything together.
