My new Fast Wheels

My new Fast Wheels
Here are my new Fast Wheels (www.fastwheels.ca) from the Quebec Canada company, on my 2007 TL Type S. They're stock size Tarantula chrome model with new Hankook V4ES tires. The standard Type-S wheels are now relegated to my winter tires. There's always debate over what wheels will fit over those Brembo calipers. The fitter and I saw that these wheels have more caliper clearance than the stock wheels.

Harsh crowd lol.
I don't think they're ugly but probably not an improvement over stock. IMO we get used to people going 2" or more larger than stock so it looks a little funny with a different rim in the stock size.
I have to admit if I ever did a rim upgrade it would be something like this. They look lighter than stock and probably give excellent airflow to the brakes. I'm only interested in performance so something like this in the stock size would fit the bill. But for me at 33 years old having the car lowered already bothers me and I don't want to push the "image" farther by getting rims.

Exactly. If I ever did rims they would have to be lighter than stock and probably the same diameter and a little more width. After seeing the difference in handling (by accident) when reducing weight by 7lbs per corner with the BBK, I would never add more weight.

i get you 100% and really in the end its what each person likes there car to do look or perform or both in cases... when i bought my car new i liked its styling and interior features for the price it fit my budget... i knew it wouldnt be a race car cuz it was fwd but overall i liked it way more than the other cars i was lokn at during that time which were the bmw 330 and the infiniti g35 the 3G tl is a great car.... now the 4G TL ummm i think they went a different direction

I totally understand. But I just have a hard time decreasing factory performance even if it's just a little. If you never push the limits then I can understand. I drive like an old man 90% of the time, much slower than my GF. But it's always fun to have the handling when you need it.
OP, lose your front mudflaps

^ it doesn't look THAT bad to say it looks like shyt, the wheels just look a bit small, and no drop makes it look smaller.
OP, I think you invest in the aspec lip kit, some coilovers, and 19"wheels

Wow...some harsh responses.
However, I have to agree...the FAST wheels don't look that great.....chintzy. I've seen FAST wheels at different shops, they are cheap Chinese wheels that people usually use for their Winter tires. You've definitely stepped down from the OEM TL-S wheels which are much higher quality (Enkei) wheels and far nicer looking...I would put the OEMs back on ASAP and use the FAST wheels for snow tires.

LOL
The guy changed his avatar a few times after I posted.
Gisele's a blonde, now it's some asian chick heheh
By the time someone reads this, it's probably not the asian chick in his avatar anymore since he keeps changing it.
The girl in his avatar that BlueAc referred to was Gisele, though.

Some of the responses are funny. It's already obvious the majority don't like the rims but people have to continue with their opinions. I think they look average.
But it's some of the same people that give the thumbs up to a slammed cambered TL with 20" ugly ass rims.
