What's with the "Camber" talk? I thought that one of the things that pillow mounts could do was to compensate for camber. If so, then why pay more for something you already have (the ability to adjust via the pillow mounts INSTEAD of camber). Maybe I was mistaken. Oh yea, and to balance out all the guys here I'll throw one in for RAISE IT UP! LOL. Seriously, going to 19-inch wheels will help make it look better. You spent $'s on the suspension, now do the same with the wheels.

camber is non adjustable through the coilovers like on strut cars.. such as 350z or 240...

the 18s i have now are fine with me untill i have the money for new wheels,i already know which wheels i want to buy when the dough rolls in..also in 18 inch,i am happy with the performance of 18s and dont care to lug around 19s or have to replace my brakes faster just to look a little better, but i still have to buy my aspec kit and greddy catback before i want to buy the rims..

im not in love with my apexi mufflers...and i got screwed over on the aspec kit i did order so i had to cancel and spent the money on other things...

im at 2.2 and 1.9...i think being slammed is all about showing off to your friends, there is no practicality in it to me...i work,i have a family and i already know my car is nicer than any of my friends,i dont need to have a crappy ride to feel better...having a camber kit to me is better than replacing tires ANY amount more than stock....i dont think i should have to replace more tires just to be low,if i can do something about it,other wise i just wouldnt lower my car at all...ive had civics, mercedes benz and toyotas, and i have to say,im way past the showing off for my friends stage..

now that i have friends in AZ i have to say i am equal in niceness of my car with them and it dosent bother me,even some have things i would like to do but im not going out making myself broke to top them.

That's nice stuff.

Honestly , @ first I thought Megan was Mugen knock-offs. I would never pay attention to it.
But how does the coils treat you so far?

so far i have put about 1,000 miles on them at the level 16 of dampening all around, and i am very happy with them..they dont klunk, they arent loud, not bouncy, but u def feel the road more, its like your car is hugging the road, when the road dips ur car dips with the wheels, instead of stock, how ur wheels dip down but ur car stays level.

i havent really driven at a softer setting,i drove to the gas station at 20 or 25,i dont remember, but it was too soft for me so i lowered it to 16. since then i have left them.

i have gone through agressive up hill mountain turns and normally i would do 80mph with stock suspension,i didnt take it past 85 with the coilovers but i def did notice that it hugs the turns tighter than stock.

i hope this helps anyone else who is in the market for megans.

i was just wondering.. because say you want to lower your current setup by 1/2" more.. you would need to twist the front like 5 revolutions, while the rear is gonna take like 25 revolutions

i do not plan to go lower,i never did...i have about a 1/4 inch gap from tire to fender, and that is low enough for me..
my ingalls should be here by tomorrow or monday..and i will be getting another alignment before our socal meet, and next weekend i plan on painting my wheels, and my car should be back from paint by friday...so got alot in store in the next 2 weeks!

i didnt measure my height by revolutions,i measured in inches from ring to ring top to bottom with a measuring tool,so im not sure how many it would take, the threads are the same coarsness,so i am sure it will be the same revolutions per 1/2 inch all around..

So, how are the Megan Coilovers holding up? I remember when Megan first came out, most folks just brushed them off as junk. I dealt with a lot of Megan products at my families shop we use to own and I'd have to say some of their products were impressive but there were a few we had issues with (exhaust systems with fitment issues). Their coilovers seem to be real popular now though, especially among the Nissan crowd.

Anyway, any issues so far? Squeaks? Blown shocks? Sagging?

Also, where did you get those knob extenders? Any pictures of them installed?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm thinking about ordering Tein SS's but might just go for the Megans since I can get them for way cheaper and many will argue they are a better coilover than the SS's.

And incase anyone is wondering, this is the company who makes them:

http://www.bcec.com.tw/

It's said this same company produces coilovers for a lot of Japanese companies who rebadge them and resell, just as Megan is doing. I just wonder how they are on the TL.
