the moment you have been waiting for (MEGAN coilovers installed) pics.

well i installed them last night finally, put 400 miles on them right after i installed them,i have to say, they are niceeee,i set them at 16 all around, not too stiff not too soft,i tried it at 25 for about 1 mile and its like a boat, way soft, even softer than stock i think... megans preset height had my 18 inch wheel tucked all the way to the rim edge so i had to raise them like 2 inches or somethin,im nto sure what my over all drop was, bbut it was a good inch and a half maybe 3/4..so here comes the pics!

and my next major mod i am thinking about:

DUAL .50CAL ..what do u think? right out the top of the sunroof? just might work!

LOL,

My wife has been wanting one of those for her minivan for the longest time.

Makes freeway driving on SoCal much more exciting.

did you get 4-wheel alignment done after the install? that should fix the camber problem.

yeah i did,but camber is non adjustble on our cars, and i didnt get a camber kit...one side is off by 1.2 degrees and the other is off by .9 degrees or so.

it looks like crap too in the rear, very noticable...i will buy a camber kit before my next alignment, unless it tears my tires up bad before hand

1.5" - 1.75" drop should be ok without camber kit.

as long as you are happy with the drop, it's what it counts. we are just providing our opinions.

Looks good, nice weather where ever you are living lol. Wish it was like that here. Already been said if you could go lower, I'd go lower. But to each his own. Everyone on here insists on slamming there tl, why cause it looks sickkkk when its done.

you know whats funny when I first saw the pics of your car and I saw that curve I was like dude wth is that there for.... but you know what... I've got a solution for you being able to go lower... wooden ramps ... you just need need one to put the front ontop so it clears that little curve

I would certainly drop is more... right now you are rolling 1" all around

still looks pimped... aspec kit coming?

ps. nbp full rep points

Just get and keep good Toe alignment and I bet your tires will be fine. If you don't like the look, then yeah, you'll need the camber kit.

Regards the "more drop" comments: You ask for opinions, you take your chances. The good news is all those opinions are worth exactly what you paid for them.

I don't know If its just me or I've grown up but I used to be a whole lot more excited about lowering my older cars. I'm kinda over it on this car... But it sure does look good.

instead of going lower, get bigger wheels. how much did they cost? they are good with the upper mounts in place.

Well he said it rides good, 32 levels of dampening, upper pillowball mounts...Tein SS's are about the same price and dont include the upper mounts. Seems like a pretty good deal to me...Cant wait to get mine!

...in my opinion, they are very overpriced for Megans, these usually go for about 850

32 levels is a good option but then again are you really gonna use it all? 16 is already well enough, and yeah the pilllowball mounts are a plus

I paid 895. Tein ss are selling for 980. And I am completely happy with the megans. I like tein but I kinda think everyone is going to say negative cause everyone think tein owns the car world.

How does the overall ride comfortability compare to stock? Was that soft setting you tried out comparable. I'm definitely interested in these but it doesn't seem like there is much spring length there and the front spring rate is designed pretty stiff.

Seems like ends users on the interwebs are pretty happy with the Megans. They are made by the same company that makes some real high dollar kits.

im pretty confident that the megans can get a stock feel,i am thinking of adjusting my front really soft to get a feel for it to see how it really can feel...i have only been riding on the midway point cause i like it to be stiff on fast turns and corners...i will do a test on the front wwhen i get it back from the bodyshop, try it on 25-30 just to see...and i will do another review on them. over all i am verry happy with them.

ps..do u paint cars powerflow? or do u just like the pic in ur avatar? (i have 3 satas)

Cool, thanks for the reply. Yes, I do paint. I'm ASE, I-Car, BASF certified paint tech. I recently stopped for now, but I may get back into it on the side.

Edit: I use 3 NR2000's, 1 clear only, 2 base, ect. Triple-Sata crew represent!

Those Iwata LPH's are really nice. I used one a few times and really liked it. They also are great if you don't have a high compressor or doing a low pressure effect since they have a low rating.
