minor drop

looking for springs that only lower the car .7 or .5
i was thinking about going for the comptechs but it will probobly be too low (aspec 18s)
unless anyone has pics of 18s with comptechdrop and no body kit, id like to see .

any springs that drop half a inch or so?

thanks

The only one I know of that drop the car so minimally is the A-Spec suspension kit, which I have. You will really need to look around to find a dealer willing to seperate themselves from a kit without the rest of the A-Spec crap.

If you want a slight drop, I would highly recommend the A-spec suspension like neuronbob has suggested. However, if you want to save a few $$ and just get springs, it seems like your only choice would be Tein High Tech.

Are Tein good springs? Also what are the disadvantages of going with just springs and not the spring shock combo?

those TEIN springs drop the rear more than the front?
i really dont want that typeof look
i have thought about the apsec and my dealer will seperate the suspension from the entire kit but 1388CAN for the suspension is kinda pricey.

I just ordered tein H tech after long thinking...yeah our car has higer gap in front so I was considering about tein coil over but....more than 1 grant to installed....I'll try tein H tech spring....since dropping only little bit more than half inche...i think that I don't have worry about shoks. and if i see comptech or eibach drop..I see huge gap front and no gap in rear at all....I'm also thinking to change only front spring...pricewise...tein is really in good price

i just orderd up a set of Eibach 4044.140's from http://store.yahoo.com/hpautoworks/eiprokitlosp.html

4044.140's are suppose to give 1/1 drop (i would not go less than 1" up front). i was looking for a 1/0.75, but short of adjustable coilovers all i could find were springs that were either 1/1 or had more drop on rears....

anyone with these or Comptech's know how out the camber was after the drop ???

No problematic camber issues at all with Comptechs...I even have 19s and my camber is uneffected after a good alignment....tire wear is perfect thus far as well.

i mean before the alignment, wanting to know how the camber is affected with springs or new wheels, etc.

if i can get a good feel as to how much camber is out with a 1" drop i can adjust it myself.
