so i pulled out my comptech RSB but can't get my progress RSB in! it keeps getting stuck between my exhaust and suspension links. for those of you who put this in..any advice?? thanks in advance...

 

its hard for me to describe???...you just have to angle it right. Dont be afraid to pull on the bar a little. Its plenty strong. This is probably why CT recommended taking part of the exhaust off but that was just too extra for me. I used a lift too so I had more space to work with compared to just working under the car with jacks. Im not sure what you are working with

 

i pulled and pushed and twisted...my exhaust is in the way...i'm going to take it to my friends shop and put it on a lift...maybe that will help...i HOPE....

 

Good luck. Having it on the life makes it a lot easier though. Your able to work it at a lot more angles. It took me about 20 mins uninstall and install using the lift.

 

god i dunno if its exhaust in the way or what..me and my buddy jacked it up and got one side in, the other side i just couldn't get in (there was some suspension arm in the way). i'm just going to take the damn thing to the shop tomorrow.

I'd like to have your opinion when you got the Progress bar installed. I have to decide which bar I'll buy between the Comptech and the Progress. As the Comptech is not in production anymore, I would have to move fast to find one in stock before they're gone.

My suspension is stock (6MT) and would like to have your comparative evaluation between the Comptech and the Progress RSB.

Actually lower the exhaust per the (Comptech) instructions.
