I tried to roll my quarter panels today...
I bent them up a little bit with a bat but I guess it wasn't enough because they still rub. I couldn't get much leverage. I'm gonna try again tomorrow. Anyone here done this before and have any tips for me?

well.. actually i got my fenders done yesterday...
asked around... and basically no one wanted to roll the quarter panels cuz the paint will crack and what not...
so i went to this one place that "specializes" in playing with fenders..
what they did was instead of rolling the fenders, they cut them... (the inside anyways) and put rustproofing...
so far they don't rub.. but i still haven't put in a full load in my car...
by the way i have +42 rims .. 225/45/17 tires.. and lowered with eibach prokit
hope that helps

If the fender lip is tucked up flat against the fender, I'm sorry to say but you'll need a body shop to stop the rubbing. I think your offset is not going to work.
Plus, our paint needs to be heated before rolling the fenders to prevent cracking.
Maybe someone else here can help you out further. Sorry dude.

I didnt push the lip flat against the quarter panel. I was afraid of cracking paint or bending the quarter. How much does it cost to get them cut?

it cost me $50 CDN to get the fenders cut.. (i think it could have been a bit cheaper, but then i was sorta at his mercy)
took about 45 minutes or less todo
by the way... just to let you know.. i don't know if it still rubs with a full load in the back.. but it doesn't rub when i go over big bumps like it did before i got it cut (i have +42 offset)
and what they cut is the part that is hidden.. cut until there's about 1/4 - 1/3 of an inch left
sheesh.. i wish i had a digicam to show...

yeah, they had to heat my fenders up before they rolled em. really small cracking under the lip of the fender, not noticeable. I wouldn't do it myself unless I had a tool. Talk to Shoofin, I saw that he bought a tool and knows where to get one. Our TL's are too old to mess around with ourself. The paint becomes very fagile after 4 or 5 years. Let a pro do it.
