Exclamation I think it's time to pull the trigger...

So... I've been rockin' the house @ work and received a nice bonus recently. Usually I'd put that right into my savings, but this time I feel like spending it. On some Advan Model T5s. Problem is, I cant decide if I want chrome or gunmetal...

Here is the link to the pictures...

Another question... I'm new to the whole "rim/tire thing -lol." Is 18x9.0 gonna be a problem, fitment-wise?

I've never purchased aftermarket rims or even tires (though I'm a michelin man) before, so anything that would make this process easier would help - thx.

Joey

to make the tire size easier so the sppedo is accurate, google 1010 tires.com and use their tire size calculator. Also on the die there is a box, check of display tires in this size and also pictures so you can see the difference. Also not to be rude, theres wheels are a bit ipen and the Tl (execpt MT) has nothing to show behind them so it wuld be a good idea to get a big brake kit (BBK) to have something to show and to help stop the car easier. Also are you in NYC or Orlando now? The roads in NYC will eat up your rims so staying size less then 20 would be advisable. (edit, looks like your doing 18's)

^ I'm in Orlando now - go back to NYC in August. Yeah NYC will swallow my car whole one day so i decided even 19s were pushin' it. And your comment wasnt being rude... but it did shed some light on that subject. I was actually looking @ the rotors today and the rear ones are small as hell... but, honestly, I'd rather deal with that then spend money on brakes. I'm not speedracer, and while I find the brakes on the TL to be just average (brake fade = very annoying), I dont wanna dish out money on 'em. Just
p.s. the tire size calc was really helpful thx!

no problem, if yo uwant to make the brakes look a little bit better without dishing out to much cash, try paint the calipers and if you want, getting cross-drilled or slotted rotors. Painting the calipers gunmental or black will really compliment the car.
