How accurate is the tpms...

How accurate is the tpms...

I have a track guage that reads about 3lbs lower then the tpms...just wondering if folks think the tpms is off a few pounds or maybe its my guage...

My digital gauge reads 1lb lower than my car's TPMS.

My guage is right on for 3 of 4. 4th one is off by 1 lb or less (sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off by a pound. I figure that means there is about a 1/2 pound actual difference).

I have a round analog dial gauge, it's spot on for all 4 tires. So I'd say the TPMS is pretty accurate.

Do not use a digital gauge. Use a professional gauge such as



The tmps is usually on the money +- 0.5psi.

also, i am using an accu guage, so either its off or my guage is off...i am more incline to think my tpms is off a few pounds vrs an alalog track guage...so for now i am going to somewhat split the difference...34 front, 31 rear...
