hondafans -
thats the part (removing the rear seat) that has me not wanting to install it myself.
i am planning to get the parts from Falconi in Las Vegas - might have them install - but it is a 4hr drive (8 hr round trip).
maybe i will just bite the bullet and install it myself. it isnt a money thing - i just dont want the 8 hr round trip..............
it would be nice to have the local honda dealership do the install........

It takes about the same amount of time to istall all four as it does to drive one way to Vegas. Have Scott through in the instructions for the install and you will be time and money ahead. It really is not that hard. I found the CAI install to be a bigger PITA than the struts. It's not that bad, just be careful taking the seat back out as you might accidently scratch the door pannel. Other than that is pretty straight forward.

It took me and my buddy 55 minutes to install all four struts! The back seat takes about 2 minutes to remove(30 seconds for the bottom cushion and a minute and a half for the back).....The installation is way easy if you have any skills whatsoever! PM me for seat removal instructions.

The complicatedness (I'm sure it's not a word, sue me) of removing the back seat is overblown, in my opinion. A pain, yes, hard, no.
As for overall time, having never done anything like this before my friend and I took about 7.5 hours (now, this did include lunch, dicking around the garage, and an anal analysis of the rear suspension with regards to the RSB). With no experience, I would say 6-8 hours is reasonable (and the time is has taken most here to do it). Now, with experience in these matters, I would estimate 3-4, even less, depending on the tools you have. Having done it, I could do it in less than 4 (hind sight is a wonderful thing, isn't it?).
And hondafans is right, be careful with the back seat...I have two scratches on the door panel...they're hard to see, so I don't mind, but it's the principle...
