You be the judge:

Naturally OE 8" 45 offset/
Just an FYI-1 mm = .0394"
If stock wheels/tires on the car, just add the new calculations to the ouside and you'll be able to see where they will sit.

I have 245/45-17 S.4's on the TL and if I take a level and place it on the outside of the qtr fender lip, then add 1.024" to the sidewall, I'm outside the body, and add that to the side of the tread, I'm even with the outside of the body. Just don't understand how they can fit. If the car is lowered, or with suspension travel, the tire will certainly contact the body unless the qtr is pulled. The S.4 245/40-18 is same tread width, but .1" less in sidewall width which doesn't make any difference, .05" each side. Maybe if one found a skinny tire e.g. the 960, that has the same sidewall width, but the tread with is .5" less, .25" each side and that might make it if the qtr is rolled, or tire cambered, but a tight fit.
Inquiring minds need to know.
Looks like I answered my own question. Actually I took a look at the dimension once again and I previously overlooked the 10" wide wheel, and at 44mm with just about 50/50 split inside/outside over the 8" 45, the tread will remain in the same location as the 245/45-17. The 10" wide wheel lip would reside outside the fender, but as the tires will be stretched on the 10" wheel, they should be able to reside inside the body unless the drop or suspension travel is excessive, then fender modifications become necessary.

It will fit... just get the rear fenders rolled and have the alignment adjusted (negative camber) for added clearance.
Also, keep in mind that she is lowered with H&R Sports which is only a 1.4in (front) & 1.3in (rear) drop. There's plenty of room for clearance.

they fit... the rear will need rolling if you go for 255 or 265 tires
