Height Clearence Issue

Hey guys,

Need some help.

Just moved into a new place that has an underground parking garage, and I bottom out on the front bumper every time when driving down/into it because of the angle. Driving in diagonally still doesn't help. Putting a plank/pieces of wood down isn't an option, so I guess I have to lift my car? How does that work and how much would it cost?

I've got 17' TSW Willows on low profile Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

Any input would be great

Thanks

silly goose, if it's just hitting the plastic air dam, underneath you are totally fine.

if its scraping and parts are getting bent, there's a problem if on stock suspension.

P.s. cars are not meant to be lifted. you'll take out all the work that the engineers put into your car...

^^^That.

Your stock OD was 25.5", and you may be a little below that with your current wheel/tire combo, causing the scrape.

This is what happened to me, I went from stock 25.5" to 25.3" and scraped everywhere. Yes, it makes a difference.

But with my new combo that is 26" I never scrape and I love it.

get wheels like this, and you will have no more issues with bottoming out.

OMG this thread went to the dogs quick lol.

OP, try the 245/45 tire size, they usually run about 25.7" OD.

I'm little over 4.5 inches from the ground to that black plastic lip that hangs low right by the rad. Everywhere else is almost 6 inches. Scratches don't look too bad, but I still don't like that sound of it bottom-out every time I drive down into the parkade. I guess I'll just have to monitor it every so often.

Thanks for the input ya'll!
