My Turanzas, when I had them, went front to back and tried to do it every 5K miles. Still only lasted 16K miles before going to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Pricey but they instill a lot of confidence that the Turanzas didn't.

My tires (yes, the dreaded EL42 Turanza) were rotated front to back and this was done at the dealer during servicing (A1, B1) at about every 5.5K miles. Currently, about 20K on them.

I rotated mine once before I got new wheels...did it the old fashioned way...F > R (straight back), cross the R's and put them in the F. If you follow that pattern (or the reverse of it), each wheel will eventually end up at each corner of the car (after 3 rotations with the same pattern; the 4th puts it back where it was originally). The same pattern is in the manual for regular tires (HPT's, ie. directional tires, are straight F > R and R > F).
