Red face First time

Ive been hearing people telling to drop my car couple inches and since this will be the first time doing it I don't really know so much about it. I would like to go with springs. One because they are cheaper and the second reason is jut to experience the driving. So, how low should i go guys? also, which type of springs is better (brand)?
One last things. I was able to work on my car over the weekend. Worked on the grille as well as on the headlights (put carbon fiber one). I put diffuser on the side of the bumper, they will become part of the bumper just didn't have enough time to do this and paint the whole bumper so for the meantime they are half way in. let me know what you guys think

what's up with the orange reflector?

H&R sport springs and tein h-techs seem to be popular spring choices.

Interesting. Never seen anyone clear their headlights and then add a reflector to the fender. Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Whats up with the grill?

Also springs in the long run aren't cheaper. Because your going to have to replace your shocks sooner or later just my thought.

when i was in cali, i got pulled over twice for not having reflectors
this the reason why i decided to put reflectors on the sides, sort of like the bmw 5 series

Beautiful car! Everyone has a different opinion on springs. Best bet is to see how far each spring lowers the car and then decide from there. Many folks recommend the H&R springs. I used the Eibach Pro-Kit. It's all preference and equipment you put on the car.

Do you plan on doing new shocks as well?

Those amber reflectors on your fenders look silly.

What is the point of putting those on the side if you already have front sidemarkers....

You said you got pulled over for having no front reflector....... putting it on the fender isn't gonna help because now it's not even in the front of the car.... oncoming cars still can't see it.

It's on the side of the car. Chances are your LED lit front sidemarker will catch more attention than the reflector at night...

IDK man, it looks tacky.... The placement of it reminds me of g35/maximas but theres light up. So now you have 2 front side markers on each side?

As for lowering the car, go for HT-Spec coilovers. Springs are cheap but will eventually wear out your stock shocks and you'll have to replace all 4. HT-Spec coils cost only $600 and offer you ride-height adjustment. If you get springs and shocks, your car will only go as low as the springs go. If you put the springs on and they are too low for your taste, too bad. If you want to go lower, too bad. You can't. With coilovers you can raise the car and lower it to your liking.

The grill looks too naked to me. I don't really like how the "A" logo is 'sunken' in as opposed to raised

I like the grill-looks good.

I lowered my Type S with H&R Sports Springs for the exact same reason you are considering. $245 as opposed to ~$1,000 for coils.

thanks a lot
I want the car to be dropped only 1" that's about it, well at least for now. I don't want to but do i have to? I talked to my buddy at acura and his suggestion was to get the coils because i would probably end up changing the shocks at one point.

It is ok if they don't see it, as long as cops can, that's all that matter to me, in the event i get pulled over of course.

Sorry that you don't like it. I still need to work on them just haven't had the time to do it.
Yes but they will not light up like the cars mentioned above. The reflectors are from the bmw 5 series, they do not come with that option and even if they did i would leave them alone, like how they are on the bumper.

As for lowering the car, go for HT-Spec coilovers. Springs are cheap but will eventually wear out your stock shocks and you'll have to replace all 4. Thanks for the opinion, to each his own
