Eibach Vs Comtech
ONE INCH SPRINGS EIBACH VS COMTECH
I am looking to get some spring setup for my TL-S. I am wondering which product has a better qaulity and will i need a camber kit with this 1 inch drop. I have delt with camber kit's in the past and they become very sqeaky/noisy after install. I just spoke with a local dealership here in Cali, Bay Area and the dealer tech said it would be ok to install w/out voiding my warrenty....
Any suggestions? I am also thinking to do the Rear Sway Bar and curious how much stiffer the car will be with these two modificaitons. I don't want to have my ride too harsh after deciding not do deal with coilovers. I have also heard the TL-S with Teins SS at the softest settings is not so bad as well. Any information would be helpfull from people who have suspension upgrades thanks...

I've read here that the Comptech springs are made by Eibach. I don't know if that is true or not. Assuming it is, there should be no build quality differences.
In general, the smaller the drop the less additional negative camber you'll have. A 1" drop from After Market springs is about as small a drop as you can find. Here's a good read on the need for Camber Kits:

You say the "dealer tech" told you that you'd still be under warranty. Taken literally, I doubt that a "tech" has much say on warranty coverage. If the Service Manager said that, it'd have more weight.

Yeah the the master tech at this acura said it will be ok b/c i have extended warrenty nothening to worry about, he said they have had comtech supercharged tl's dropped acura's always go there w/out any problems... Yeah i am still thinking to just get a 1inch springs drop with oem shocks between these two springs, or possible save more for tein ss , does anyone know the min drop can you have with the tein ss? can i drop it only 1inch maybe no more then 1.5 thank for the help/advise. oh yah i this dealer is pretty ok about modifications and said ask them what can i do and can't do. They are ok with comtech for sure. Tein SS adj to near OE ride comfort do ok by anychance? i don't want to kill my ride...
It depends on which Comptech springs you get. If they are brand new, then just like Bear mentioned, the Comptechs are just rebadged Eibachs, so you are pretty much in the clear. If the Comptech springs are older ones, be careful. They have a tendency to make your car sag in the rear. The "bad batch" Comptech springs are usually grey in color. The new, rebadged Eibach springs are either black or dark blue.
To be totally sure of what you get, just get the Eibachs, since then you know for sure what you're getting, and they're the exact same thing anyway.

what color are the new eibach comptech's?I got comptech on the tl and had 2 set's of eibach(prokit & sportlines) on my cl and it's basically the same shit. The prokit rode just like my tl (nice) when I put sportlines on (lower drop/different setup) the ride suffered abit..........

Excelerate I need your help.
Do I have to worry about silver comptechs that are on my TL right now. Just had them installed with a 19x8.5 and 245/35 and am rubbing pretty bad with any weight in the back seat. Someone on herer told me the silver springs are defective and sag in the back which might be causing it. I know that you know what you are talking about. Is this the case? Should I put new springs on before I try rolling the fenders?

The 3rd gen TL springs never had a problem. You likely have too wide of a tire or a wheel with an aggressive offset.
