Drilled rotors for Brembo? 6MT and 1 1/2" drop
Hello everyone I have been searching for the best place I can find drilled rotors for my 2005 6MT (Brembo) TL at a decent price.
I have recently installed new STR 19' rims and and wanted to get about 1 1/2 in drop just to close in the gap a little. nothing crazy this is my daily drive. what is the best suggestion. what kind of shocks and springs would still maintain some of the comfort and give the drop look?

I have been researching this same thing...
From what I hear, the Ground Control / Koni option on the Ground Control website is a good option. Price is $999.99 the last time I looked.
I have also heard the H&R springs were a good choice. But if you go with springs, you will have to go with new shocks... then the price jumps up to $800 or so.
I have been researching the Tein Basis but haven't heard anything about them or what the ride is like.
I have the Function Form for my Civic, the ride quality is kind of stiff and you can feel the bumps. I ordered the Integra set but I think everything is the same but not sure.
If you hear anything, let me know. I am in the same situation as you and want to close the gap but I don't want to go to aggressive since it is my daily driver as well.
As for good prices, I have found http://www.sparktecmotorsports.com to be good with prices on the StopTech rotors. You will have to get the part number and do a search that way. I noticed that when you click on TL, it doesn't list anything but if you go to the manufacture you can search part numbers that way.

Yeah that's exactly what I mean. But I'll check out that website for the rotors and if I find out more about the suspension I'll keep you posted!!

'04 6MT, on H&R sport springs with Koni Yellows gave a 1.5" drop. I'm on the lowest perch. Went with Brakemotive drilled and slotted rotors two years ago, which have been fine, but I need to replace my front pads soon.

I wouldn't recommend Brakemotive rotors. I put all new brakemotive drilled and slotted rotors and brakes front and back on my wife's 2007 Caravan and about 6 months later they were wrapped bad. Maybe i got a bad set or not but I will not be buying another set.

Alright good to know, I'll stay away from that brand. I'm looking for something that will last a while, I don't mind paying a little extra (not paying for brembos bcz those prices are insane) but I want something good for a decent price.

Yeah that's the kind of drop I'm looking for, how comfortable is the ride? Where did you get the rotors from?

get stoptech or centric rotors. i think they have the same parent company, but one is just blanks and the other has slotted/drilled features. all of our vendors sell them...xlr8, heeltoe, etc.

Once I replaced my motor mounts and all lower control arm bushings, the ride was great, almost feels like a brand new car again.
