Dissapointed in Progress RSB??

I recently installed the Progress RSB and it has not been living up to my expectation. many people seem to say that it is the most noticeable difference and that everyone should get it, but somehow, I can't say that for myself. I can barely tell the difference. Is it because I have ASPEC shocks? Do people with ASPEC shocks have drastic changes in handling?
Maybe it is because I have not taken it on crazy drives yet. I have only made a few test runs and it feels the same.
I will post if I have a change of mind. Please post comments and suggestions below!

You will feel it more in corners, you shouldnt talk about it not being good till you test it out fully.

Did you install it yourself? The most difference is felt on the 24mm setting vs 22mm. Also did you make sure that all the bushings and endlinks were tight?

I installed the 22mm Comptech Bar on my 04 TL (factory suspension) and noticed a difference from when I left my driveway! The rear end in my case feels a whole lot more stable on the highway and as well the back of the car tends to roll a whole lot less during hard cornering allowing for better cornering!

That's just my experience with it, hopefully you just didn't drive it enough to notice the difference!

hard cornering with high g loading is where the bar comes into play
find a cloverleaf on-off ramp to the freeway and have some fun
keep increasing speed and the car stays solid

what `end links` were used- does progress bar come with new ones?

It's not necessary. It just depends on how aggressive you want the rear end to be.

I wasn't impressed either. I have an 07 type s and I felt very little improvement in handling. I've had it for about 6 months and have tested it fully.

i also wondered this since i have the aspec suspension also. the aspec was such a big change in body roll that it made me wonder if the new sway bar would even make a noticable difference.

I've written countless threads on swaybars, their effects on handling, why bigger is not always better, the effects of stiffer springs and swaybar effectiveness and useful range. Try a search, the answers are out there. In this forum actually.

When I replace my RSB with Progress, I felt the rear end stiffen up. I put H&R coilovers and saw a huge difference in handling.

I did install it myself. My sway bar came with two sets of brackets, one red and one black. Did anyone else get two sets? I ended up using the red one because it fit better. I have tested it today and there is no drastic difference in cornering before I installed it. The ASPEC suspensions have definitely improved handling and cornering, but I'm afraid I can't say the same for the RSB.
Also, I have put my setting on the stiffest.

Are you talking about it came with 2 sets of bushings? If you put the wrong bushings the bar will be less effective. The bushings should "barely" fit around the bar. It should require a little effort to get them to close completely around the bar.

Mine came with a red set and a black set of bushings. I put on the red one. The red one fit on perfectly and the black did not fit, so I decided to use the red one
