Disabling TPMS

Has anyone looked at disbling the tpms in the 06 model ... eg a fuse pull or something. I'm looking at aftermarket wheels and don't want to deal with swapping valve stems or having a warning light on all the time .

This has been talked about before. No it's not possible. If you want to learn more I suggest a search.

Why not buy sensors and have them installed in your aftermarket wheels (also been discussed in the tire/wheel forum).

Maybe the rims I am looking at won't accept the sensors ... and I did do a search TY and didn't come up with the answer I was looking for .. If I knew for sure the sensors would fit I'd do it .. Any one of you kind and helpful souls have a picture of the part of the sensor that goes in the inside of the rim? Is it much bigger around than a normal stem or just longer? I have a set of the same rims on my VW and if I knew how big the sensors were I 'd break a bead and look at the inside of the rim.
