Comptech spring owners!!
Comptech spring owners!!
I have a question for all TLs with Comptech springs (preferable the grey ones).
I understand that there have been a lot of problems with the "older grey" comptech springs. I am curious to know if all grey ct springs are bad, or if it is just the possibility of them going bad(breaking). You may have read my other thread about having rubbing issues but I have not been able to get a good answer.
Just wondering if other guys have had the same problem with the grey springs?

Just got off the phone with Acura of Lynwood and Comptech and they told me their springs have always been silver even to this day and also that all 3rd Gen. TL springs have always been made by Eibach. Is true? Are they Fu*kin with me?

fyi: I did 3 suspensions on my cl. I said I'm not slamming the tl, but for some strange reason I see my tl slammed on coilovers in the future.:shakehead

There have never been any problems with the 3rd gen TL springs, only a few 2nd gen CL/TL springs from a long time ago. Comptech had Eibach make all their springs for the 3rd gen TL.
