Caster question:
Caster question:
Just got my 08 TL a month ago. It had crap OEM Bridgestones. Got new DWS, and they are great. I do have a question on the alignment.
It needed alignment and now every measurement is perfectly in the middle of spec...EXCEPT Front Right Caster. The before reading was 2.4* and the after reading is 2.4*. The specified range is 2.5-4*. (Left is 2.6*. What would keep these from being able to be adjusted into the middle of the spec range?)
What am I looking at here? What would cause this? Why would they not be able to get in within specs?

I'm not really sure what would cause a decrease in caster like that but maybe have it re-checked at a different shop and see if you get the same numbers.
Caster is good though because it's basically dynamic camber so more is "generally" but I don't think there's anyway to adjust it, especially stock.

As above, you could have another shop check the specs, but if the car handles properly and steering response is good, returns as it should after a turn, will be fine, especially when both are similar. It would be a different story if one were 2.4 and the other side 3.5, but similar no problem.
Enjoy the new tires and hope the other alignment specs give a correct readout. Always keep a sharp eye on the tread to watch for any abnormal wear as I've seen many racks that are not calibrated correctly and the customer ends up with an irregular wear pattern.

Funny, I am still suffering from my drifting accident from the winter because when I put on the Volks this summer and the car was a lot lower. I hit the left wheel, but it caused the caster to shift because the subframe shifted so my front right wheel was 3.1 and it would rub anytime I made a right turn with someone in my car. But I had the shop shift the subframe as much as possible, but they were only able to get it to 2.7 but seems MUCH MUCH better with rubbing. I hope this helps
