Car height after A-Spec suspension

Car height after A-Spec suspension
I just got A-Spec suspension installed on my 05 Auto TL today. I wanted to know how many inches the car would drop but I forgot to measure the height before the installaton. The following are pictures of the front and the rear after A-Spec installtion. From the ground to the heighest part of the wheel well the front and rear are both about 26.5 inches. However, from the ground to the top of the tire, the front is about 24.5 inches, and the rear is about 24.75 inches. That is why it seems the gap between the tire and the top part is smaller on the rear, compared to the front. Is this normal? I checked the tire pressure and they are all at 32psi. Is the front tire being compressed more because of the weight of the engine? Wouldn't the whole front part of the car dip down more if this is the case? Could you folks with A-Spec suspension installed check yours and let me know if it's like that? What about you folks with the stock suspension. What is the height on yours?

The pictures on the first post are from the left side of my TL. I just measured the right side and the top of the wheel well for the right front is 26.75 inches from the ground, and the right rear is 26.00 inches from the ground. That is so weird, as the left front and rear are both 26.50 inches. What's up with that? Is that normal? Is it because the weight at all four corners of the car are different? After thinking about it, that does seem possible. Also, I measured the wheel of my other car and the front is compressed a little more than the rear, like my TL, so the tires seem okay. Each wheel well height off the ground for the other car is different also. It's just the different height of the TL at each corner that has me worried a bit. Is it like this on your TL, or is mine messed up somehow?

for those that have installed the aspec suspension, did you guys noticed a further drop once the suspension settles?
for example, measure .5 inch after installation, then mayb .75 after it settles?

I had a drop of 0.5 inch after installation. Once the new suspension settled, it was minimally more. 0.5 inch is the expected drop after this install. For that drop you get a significant increase in performance.

"I had a drop of 0.5 inch after installation."
Was this measurement taken with new wheels in addition to the A-spec suspension? I did the A-spec suspension yesterday. I already have some 18" Enkie's with 40 series tires. So my measurement is with the suspension changes only. I took a test ride to let the suspension settle a bit. My "after" measurement was only 3/16th of an inch lower.
I'm not complaining at all. In fact, the A-spec suspension did exactly what I was wanting. It totally corrected that "floaty", unsettled feeling when taking corners at speed. It now feels much more planted and stable. I can easily change lanes mid corner without feeling like the chassis isn't connected to the suspension. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I can make abrubt changes without losing control, like in an emergency. Not that I drive like a maniac, I just prefer a "sporty" suspension.
My last car was lowered "into the weeds" as they say. It handled great, but was a real pain to drive in town. I do like the lowered look, I just don't think this car needs it.
Anyway, sorry to change the subject. I must say, this A-spec, I LIKE IT ALOT!

I have installed several A-SPEC setups and tons of springs on various cars. You'll need to wait a few days to measure your heights to let the springs settle in the mounts. Post up your measurements in a few days and let us know if there are any changes
