Just put these on (245/40-18) and all I can say so far is WOW! I had the Kumho Ecsta ASX on for 37K miles and it was time for them to go. I was happy with the traction and the tire wear on the ASX, but man were they loud.

Anyway, back to the Bridgestones.... Yes, I paid more for them than I would a lesser tire, but if noise and comfort are a consideration, then they are well worth the extra $$. I am actually driving the car with the radio OFF because it is so quiet in the car now. Prior, I had to play the radio loud to drown out the tire roar. I also had to drop the tire pressures on the Kumhos after I put my Tein springs on because the ride was so harsh. Now, the tire pressures are back up and the ride is sweet. I'm thinkin that I could have gone lower than the H-techs with these tires.

Anyway, time will tell if the ride on these tires holds up.

I bought a set of used ones with about 50% tread left 3yrs ago and was also quite impressed with the tire. Excellent all around performance and seemed to wear well too.
