Brake pads ..Which one to choose?

Hey guys

Just wanted your input regarding brakes pads. I have a 2004 acura tl that needs front and rear brake pads. Not looking to upgrade pads to rotora or hawk. Car is a lease. I am being offered "wagner thermoquiet" or "bendix cq" at my local parts store. or I get can get oem pads. The price is about the same for all three. Which would you guys recommend.

Thanks
-vee

I would put good brakes on it- nothing kills a lease return like a crash!

RacingBrake makes a great pad for street use- ET300
azine vendor MrHeelToe carries them
see www.racingbrake.com for tech info

I would also like to know the answer to this. I do not need performance brake pads but still want a quality product.

I installed some Akebono ProACT Ceramic pads (bought from Tire Rack). Same performance as the stock pads, but they dust a heck of a lot less.

why not just buy OEM pads and have someone install them or do it yourself. try not to get it at the dealership as they will rape you on the price.

Raybestos Quiet Stop pads should work just fine and are better than OE.
