Bent my Aspec rim on pothole -- where to get cheapest a-spec rim?

Love those chicago potholes...

Lowest quote was $465.00 + 30.00 for mounting and tire balancing. Anything better out there?

I'm also taking the rim to a wheel repair shop to see if it's even fixable... they stated over the phone that only certain types of bends can be fixed.

How did you find out your wheel(s) were bent? What symptoms were there?

The Acura dealer put only the rim on the tire balancer machine and they found that the rim itself was not balancing (all rims should be balanced from the factory). The other three were fine. The bend is not obvious, i don't think.

Have your wheel fixed. I brought my wheel from my Maxima to Wheel Wizard. It looked great! They heat it up and bend it back to specs and then refinish. You can ship to them and they will ship back. $180 to straighten and refinish.

Thanks captain ... i think I'll do this wheelwizard thing if you think it's legit, rather than buy another rim for 460.

They are for real. Like I said I have used them for my past car, a Maxima. I got to see inside their shop when I took my wheel in and their process is pretty cool. Also, most of the dealerships in this area (including my Acura dealership) use them. Everyone I have talked to about them have been impressed with their work.

Yup, at Sunnyvale..

try this link:
http://www.acuraparts247.com/sunnysi...catdisplay.jsp

fill the appropriate info, and the part is called Alloy Wheel

THis is assuming you have the 18X8.5 wheel... you could always call them directly...
Acura of Escondido is the dealer that sells tons of stuff on ebay... you might want to call them too...
Edit: THis MIGHT work...
