aspec humming

I have a 2004 tl aspec and i get a humming sound for the front of the car.
All winter when i had the stock 17" rims and snow tires it was quiet, but now that I have the stock 18" aspec wheels on it's humming pretty bad.
I already got the tires balance and it's still loud.
what can it be?

What kind of tires are you running? I had the humming with my snow tires. I just had the aspec shocks & wheels installed no problems so far - love 'em!

What tires do you have on your 18" wheels? If you have the Yohohama ES 100s, then it's definitely the tires. I had those tires on my Camry for the summer and they hummed quite a bit. Tread design has a great effect on the amount of noise you hear.

Since the term humming means different things to different people, can you describe in greater detail the context of when and how this occurs (i.e I hear a 'humming' noise when I am driving on the highway at 65 mph with the windows down). Also helpful would be a better description of this mysterious humming noise. Do you notice it at lows speeds, only during acceleration, when cruising?

Also helpful would be the transmission type (5AT, or 6MT) as you may be experiencing transmission issues.

If its the same humming i had when i changed back to my 18 inch a spec then its the tires, i had the stock wheels on for winter then put the A specs back on and they were loud, it ended up being the yokohamas and i switched it out for a set of michelin ps2's, great tires.

The OEM tires for the 18" wheels are the Yokohamas which get noise quickly. Hopefully, they were installed correctly as they are directional tires. But I would agree with Acuracy and lay the blame on the tires. You can turn up the stereo and just enjoy the great grip or change them out.
