ASpec Drop

I tried a brief search, but I'm late for a meeting so I'll just ask. If I buy the ASpec suspension it drops the car .5 inches (good for me b/c I'm not into the whole lowered look). Now my question is this, in stock form the front wheel gap is slightly greater than the rear wheel gap. Does the ASpec suspension correct this and make it even? I'm guessing it wouldn't since I'm reading that it is a .5 drop both front and rear, but I would like to hear from an ASpec owner. Thanks all.

My car is 26 1/2" fender to floor - all four corners. Measured even with the center of the wheel, perpindicular to the floor. Hope that helps.

I have the comptech springs and my rear wheel gaps are a little smaller that the front ones. I have seen some cars that look perfectly level after the spring install. Its prolly my stereo stuff that makes mine a little lower

howz the ride quality compared to stock with your comptech? is it harsh (be subjective/honest)? how was the install? how is your camber?

thanks jeff

The ride quality is great for me. I like a more sporty ride over a soft ride any day. I did the Comptech springs and 18's at the same time and the steering response seems faster and the handling is much improved. With the TL being so heavy the car wanted to "push" out when going into corners too fast but after the drop and wheels it handles much better.
The camber is OK for now.. As the car settles, if the camber gets over 3 tenths, i'll do a camber kit. Right now it is at 2.5, the specs say .20 from the factory.

do you have any pictures of your car? thinking about lowering mine but really only want to get rid of the gap in the front. How low do the comps lower your car? If it's only 1" in the front and .5" in the back, you think just lowering the front would be fine?

thanks
jeff

Thank you.
Since it's leased, I went with Comptech for $400. Ride is a little tighter, but not that bad. Little sportier. I always thought the cars were way to high off the ground anyway.
