anyone w/Axis Se7en Mods?? questions

anyone here have a TL (especially 6spds)with axis se7en mods in 19?? I have them on my CL wanna put them on my TL-S, wanted to know 1) If you have a 6spd or Type S, did you use spacers to clear brembos. 2) if the tire pressure sensors are compatible on these rims.

If i have to use spacers is there anything i should be looking for or where should i get them. With the warm weather coming im dying to get them on the TL-S

also if you have these rims on, do you have pics to post of them on your TL

Those wheels won't clear the front calipers. The only Axis wheels that clear them are the Hiros.

But hey, if you have the rims already, why not take the time to put them on the car or measure the caliper clearances and see it firsthand?

I don't think you can spacer the wheels to clear the fronts without going crazy or rubbing. What's your offset now? I would guess 40 mm. The thickest spacer you can fit without rubbing is about 10 mm. But because the spokes curve inward so much, they might even still hit the calipers. Sooo, the best way is to measure the caliper clearance of the wheels first, then go from there.

Thanks for the compliments. The wheels are Volk Racing GT-V, in 19x8.5 with 35 offset. The avatar shows the car with Koni Yellow and Eibach Prokit with lowered front spring perches.

I had 19" se7en mods on my auto TL(they're in storage, awaiting tires), also hand-me-downs from my CL-S. They BARELY clear the calipers. I imagine they would be a no-go with the Brembos.

I agree with 260 HP. I think the best way is to try it. That's what I did, and I lucked out.

As soon I figure out how, I 'll post pics.

I too wanted the Axis Mod Sevens on my 07 type S but was told they wouldn't clear the calipers. I'm currently looking into Volk GT-7's but wanted to know if anyones found a way of fitting the Mod's on the Type S.

Also, does anyone know what the offsets are on the Type S w/the stock rims? When you're searching for rims on the net, is there another way of knowing if it'll fit your car?
